Tomorrow I go for my first ever Mammogram. I would rather not, but I know how important it is.
And it just so happens, there is a very important post written by another blogger who is going through chemo for Inflammatory Breast Cancer right now. Please read this post and she asks that more of us share it on our own websites. It really is important.
I can't say they are fun to have, but certainly necessary. The slight discomfort is very short lived.

Did you hear that Robin Roberts (Good Morning America) announced today she has breast cancer? It got me thinking today that I need to go for my first mammogram, too. My general practitioner wrote an order for one a couple months ago and I carry it around in my daytimer. I have a friend that gets one every year on her birthday. I should do the same.
