One month from today Joe will graduate from the school he's been attending here in D.C. We were told the year would go by fast, and they weren't lying! Some weeks have gone by faster than others, but we are in the midst of preparing for yet another move. We are in the process of buying a house and the girls have been enrolled in a Christian school in Chesapeake, VA. Joe met the man who lives across the street from the house we're buying and learned he works in the SAME building where Joe will work. It's a large base, too! It would be great if they could work out a car pool for their 21 mile drive to work-one way. They also have 2 girls and a boy. The girls are just a little younger than Ellie and Gracie.
Ellie is now 14 and Gracie will be 12 in less than a month. We celebrated Ellie's birthday on a beautiful Saturday at the National Zoo. This coming weekend is my birthday and I'll be celebrating with at least 60 friends that I graduated from college with 20 years ago! I'm excited to attend our reunion and spend time with Tammy and be in Raleigh and on the college campus I love so much.
Joe is currently in Europe with students from his school. The girls and I took a road trip for Mother's Day to our family's annual Mother's Day Picnic at my Aunt and Uncle's house near Charlotte. It was great to be there and Ellie and Gracie especially loved the time they had in their pool and with their cousins.
Here's our future home in Chesapeake. We are excited to live on a cul de sac and have a front porch. The girls are thrilled we'll have a fenced back yard with the hopes of getting another dog soon!
Gracie, the night of her first ever band concert. She was a happy girl that night!
The house looks wonderful. Thanks for the update. Belinda

It's so nice to get an update from you! Your new house is lovely; I would also LOVE the front porch. Great place to watch the rain fall.
I can't believe it's been a year already! My prayers are with you all for a great, easy move. Blessings.
